Kissed by the Angels by Sophie Martin-Canning
Protagonist of Kissed By The Angels, Orlagh Emmet possesses a facial birthmark. She is informed by her father the angels came down the night of her birth kissed her face and left this mark so she could be identified by the angels. She is a chosen one and has a job to do, but the job is unknown. The angels begin to sporadically surface in Orlagh's presence relaying enigmatic snippets of philosophical information, which she has to deduce in order to discover her destiny and find out what her job in life is.
